A one day trip to Johore Bahru aka JB

I'm staying in woodland, therefore, shopping in JB is consider nearer to me than going to town.
Except for the heavy jam that we will be expecting when driving across custom.
What to do, Singaporean just like to go there to pump cheaper petrol, shop for cheaper clothing, enjoy a cheaper meal and of cause for me nearer place to go.

So wondering where to go when in Malaysia, JB??
My plan is always as usual, around 1pm, my hubby and I will start driving in on Sun. Consider the Jam is better that going on Sat. If we would like to go on Sat, suggest people to start driving in at around 3pm.
Camwhoring while in the Jam
I first stop will always be finding our Lunch. And my favorite is eating Chicken rice @ Jalan Sutera Danga shop house where the shop name called 5 star Kampong Chicken Rice. Price is cheap and they use Kampong Chicken (mean free range chicken). Food there is really awesome.
Menu from the 5 Star Kampong Chicken
My hubby and I often order half chicken which only cost us RM 18.00 (That is only about SGD7.50).
And my "must" to order food here, is the Thai Style Fried Bean curd.  It give a crispy at outer and soft inside. Do be careful when having a bite on it... super hot which will burn your tongue. The sour & spicy sauce that spread on the top also give a thumbs up to this dish.

So below is what we had order for our lunch:

Forgotten what veges

My Favorite Thai Style Bean curd
Plus 2 cups of refreshing sour plum juice... the total damage to our pocket for this fabulous lunch cost us less than RM40.  Thumbs Up... you hardly can find this price in Singapore and your tummy is definitely filled to the brim. (With so many food, it only cost SGD16.70)

So after lunch our 1st stop will be at the Sutra Mall (五福城). This is the place where my earlier blog entry I wrote where i get my clothes 2 for RM50. Parking there is free therefore we are able to slowly do our shopping.

Next stop, I usually go to KSL (behind Holiday plaza) if I want to do more shopping or City Square nearer to custom. City Square some how seems abit old, but they have lots of things you want there.
Especially for those KTV lovers like me. You be able to sing till your lung drop at the Neway. Dinner hour cost around RM43++ per pax and it come with free buffet spread. Super worth it, as the food is not those cheapo type. There is oyster, sushi, soup, wide spread of desserts.

If KTV is not your favorite, i like to go to the "Inner City" section within city square mall, where they sell lots of youngster clothing, magazine, accessories and affordable food.

And one newly open shop which sell Crepe... yum yum, is worth to try.
Anyway is the color of the shop and menu that catches my eyes. Hmmm... What should I have for snacks??? Too many choices. For those with sweet tooth, i took a picture of Sweet Crepe they offer:
Sweet Crepe Menu ( drooling)
And for those that prefer salty one... well like me, I choose the chicken sausage with mayo, cheese and ham in it.

Does it look yummy to you??? Love it, and wish to have it soon.

Will look for more yummy stuff and recommend next time
