Shopping Trip In Thailand

Finally I had plan to Thailand for holiday after hearing so many people say how wonderful it is to shop there. Well it is a yes and no for me. To purchase things at absolute cheap price is what my target for that 5 days. Anything above SGD10 (abt 250baht) suggest to rethink before buying, as I believe we can get almost the same price back in Singapore. Well before I introduced the place to shop, good suggestions for the hotel to stay is at center point pratunum. Price and location is rather reasonable especially for the size. Me and hubby got the delux room for abt SGD80+ per day. The room is absolutely huge as they have additional sofa bed (gd for those that one save money for a family of 3~4), and a small kitchen for u to reheat the food. Absolutely a plus point for this as you can buy all sort of street food back to ur room to eat. Don't worry, bowls n plates are available in the room for our usage.
Staying in pratunum is definitely a shopping paradise. Items sold here are mostly at whole sale price.
The first day of my shopping trip is definitely to tour around the area.
And definitely not to be miss is the morning Pratunum market which is at the back street of the hotel. ( when I say morning, is really like 5am in the morning).
They sell real cheap clothing and accessories range from 80 baht to 160 baht if you get a minimum 3pcs.
Those that buy and sell in the morning are mainly local which heard they often get it and sell it at their shop in shopping mall. So forget about bargaining with them as their business is way too good and they dont feel like giving in for such small qty we purchase. The shop owner will start to unpack at around 8am, and change a new group to put up clothing for their business... and this time you will start to see price went up to minimum 100 baht for wholesales price.

The next area to shop and not to be miss is the Platimum Fashion mall. Is a huge wholesales mall where we can almost get things that we see at Chatuchak. In fact, I feel it is a better place to shop then Chatuchak as the place is cleaner, more latest fashion items and price is the same as Chatuchak.

And overview of where to shop
Many people prefer to get TukTuk or taxi to travel around at Pratunam, for me, I prefer to walk. Because only by walking you are able to view all the small little stall that just setup along the road.
Especially when the night fall and most of the mall close around 6pm, that is the time where the roadside stall start setting up and time for bargaining.
The whole trip to bangkok is really wonderful especially seeing my luggage filled with stuff.
So here is a photo of some items I bought.

And Thailand is a place really worth to go every year.
