Dinner At CHEVAL

Feeling nice to wind down myself at Cheval on Monday. Break away those stressful life and had a nice relaxing dinner with hubby. CHEVAL is quietly sitted inside the Singapore Turf riding center where not many people had thought of. Looking out of the cafe is a nice horse training ground. We came slightly before the sunset and manage to snap a few good view of the environment.
As we walk down the stair from the car park here we see the cafe welcoming us for a relax dinner.
A simple deco cafe with yummy reasonable price food. We got set the set dinner which come with the soup of the, a main course, dessert and glass of beer /wine of your choice.
The chicken is tasty where I believe they use the thigh meat... well season with herbs. Soup was ok but will be great if the bread is toasted with garlic. The dinner ended with a nice yummy mango mouse cake. With the cost of $38++ I believe is worth especially when u select the lamb chop. Really a big piece where I still manage to take a bite as I really afraid of smell. The mint sauce is really a great help to cover the smell and make the lamb refreshing. Overall I would still go again on special occasions.

My First Alter Frame

It happen that recently I'm more into scrapbooking items.

Recently I had just alter a frame , but still not to daring to make a drastic change.
Here is a look of the frame I alter.
( Photo Frame is purchase from Ikea)

Is not really fanciful but the great part is making the flowers and slowly attached to the frame to complete the look.
At this moment, I guess i enjoy making the flowers more than doing alteration.
Thanks to youtube, i get to explore more crafty ideas and learn to make it.

Well, i guess will be seeing more of the flowers that I make to store for future used.

Super Hectic Day.

CHINESE NEW YEAR is just less than a month away. I just have so much things wanted to do. Today I just feel like I had been a super woman. Waking up in late morning and rush to supermarket and grab items for my baking. When reach mum home, without resting, I quickly get my mum to cut n dye my hair. While dying my hair, this ia the best time I start preparing my egg tart crust. It really took rather long as making tart crust need patience as it had lots of steps involved and need to refrigerate a few rounds before using. With this spare time waiting for it to harden, is time that me and my cute little niece making her favourite chocolate chip cookies. This naughty little will just like to involve in every steps but just for less than 5min. Luckily her fun was to roll the dough and place on the baking tray. Otherwise I think it will take ages for me to complete. Finally once her chxolar chip cookie done ( but doesn't allow me to eat any) I can continue with my egg tart and at the same time making my every year favorite cornflakes cookies. Is kind of tiring to bake 3 different things continously but the effort just worth when I smell n taste it out of the oven. In the next few weekends I be busy more on household chores and preparing food to welcome guests. So what will you be doing in the upcoming weeks.?
