Man's "Idol" infected by HIV??

OMG, I can't believe the headlines that say Mr E suspected  to have HIV....

Who the hell come out with this news?? And how did they find out??

Such a handsome, young looking guy might be having this diseases.... Wondering how his ex- sex partner going to react. But i was wondering... if he really got contracted earlier... when "L" and "Q" born... doctor should detect it. am I right??? hmmm not sure how people start knowing it.

Anyway guess there will be more taboos..... coming up to entertain me.
[That is a life of a aunty that always follow up with nonsense that doesn't relate to you]

Well morale of the story... always have one sex partner....if not always wear a "hat" if you prefer multi partner... it don't cost much right...?!

Working Woes

Have you ever felt that going to work is such a painful job????

I been feeling that recently. Not sure why... maybe been in this position for too long and I'm looking forward for new changes outside this world. Almost 4 years in my post and work seems to become very routine. Morale get even more demoralise when all your same group of graduate mates pay get higher while yours is still market fresh grad pay.

Been treating job like just normal daily chores... come here on PC... then slowly wait for time to past.
On and off listen to colleagues woes on their job... what are they feeling.

Like today.. Mr B told me that yesterday when he meet his customer, he get lots of idiot scolding for nothing related. I really can understand how he feel. Cos there are customer that really behave like they are the king, everyone should listen to him. It really made you very pissed off as we are just here to work, do they need to be so hash??
But no matter what, my philosophy " Customer are not always right, but they are always your customer"
These mean that no matter what we still need to endure, unless we decide to leave this environment.

Quote some customer misuse their authorisation;
1. Scold you becos when you are going to travel oversea to meet his colleague, he is not the first to be inform and was notify thru his colleague
2. Becos you are travelling, ask you help bring this and that to don't  know which of his friends as a gift
3.On and off never call him and concern him
4. Ask why you keep helping your other department colleagues to settle issues instead of accompany them for tea break [ps: issues are all related to customer company problem]
5. Demanding you to drive all the way from Jurong to AMK immediately just to pick up red dates for his good friend which work in Jurong
6. Etc

How do you feel working in this type of environment with all above issue happen again and again around you??

Haiz... sales job... tough life... but i could only say, since we decide to step into this line, no choice, we just got to endure.

All we had to think is " We work for the money... no matter how tough it is, at the end of the month you see $$ come in... that is the best"

Mood for today... kind of piss off... therefore just want to grumble abit in blog

Farewell Dinner @ Level 33 MBFC

Well this is the first time I went to Level 33 and thanks to Mike Ho recommendation.
We shall have the farewell celebration for Peijie over there.

Before going, I did take a look at their website: http://www.level33.com.sg/
Trying to find out where exactly is this place. From the web, it really make me the urge to go there.
Look so fantastic to had drink and chat with friends there.

It took me quite sometime to find the building despite using my GPS. The road there was really confusing where suddenly there is two way traffic and suddenly become one way.
Need to take a close look, and when i manage to see the "P" sign to the carpark, i almost exceed the turn.
Well maybe i'm just too stupid to notice it.

Oh ya... to go to the restaurant Level 33, it had their own personal lift for the guest. Make me feel like super VIP.
When the lift door open to the restaurant, well I'm really impress with the place. a full view of Marina Bay.
Sitting Cozy in the aircon area

We are also able to get to walk around at the open area where we are able to get a full view of Marina Bay.
Me and Bryan is the first to arrive. Never expect I am so punctual. I'm use to be the last few that will arrive. Suprise, Chee Chao brought his gf along.... hmmm finally and we are really happy for him.
Not long the whole group arrive and i notice, beside Chee Chao's gf, I'm the only female that join this crowd. ok nevermind... see they never treat me as lady since 10years ago i know them.
Surprising to see Meng wear so smart despite most of us in a causal wear.
Comment from him " I see the place in web thought abit high class so dress nicer"
Hmmm... ok reasonable. the website do give an impression that it look high class... despite some of them wear bermudas.
Well time to make our order.... Got myself a bowl of meatball and definitely 0.5L of Blonde Lager.
Nice cold Beer
A must to have beer here as they brew it themselves..... Did i say they brew it?? YUP here is actually a brewery house. Fresh beer ready for you to drink
Everyone try to order different things so that we are able to have a taste of every item.

Before our course was been serve, everyone of us have a small plate of bread toast complimentary from Level 33.
Outer was crispy and inner is soft. as it is still hot, with the butter spread in it made it taste good too.

Bryan's beef look delicious so does the cod fish that Andy's order.

Food that serve to us was delicated decorate. Feel like a fine dinning area here.

Two type of dips to go with the meatball. One is salt another not sure what it is. Look like chilli, but when you dip in, it had a sour taste which i like it.

The day we choose to had the dinner there was also lucky for us. Why??? floating parade was having their 1st rehersal for the upcoming NDP.... therefore we had a good spot to view it.
Flying fighter flying above us... and even Fireworks at eye level.... it was like a  "Wow" to us.
eye level fireworks... how many place u can get to see it... beside MBS, i guess here is another better choice.

Having the fireworks @ as our backdrop, how can we miss taking the photo...

Try to spot me

Pose for the fireworks
Upon complete.. next stop.. Lao Pa Sat to continue supper...

p/s: Level 33.. ambience super nice, beer not bad. But to have dinner here... hmmm consider when your pocket slightly full. [on average each of us spending abt $60 for a main course n beer]
Come again??? Yes definitely.... for the ambience and beer. Will like it to come together with close friends or when having a date.

Not to forget... better made a reservation before coming as it really get crowded at nite.

Attending Wawa's Wedding

After a total of 6 hour road journey, finally me and Alan arrived at Hotel Ipoh City.

Immediately we unload our luggage and would like to jump on bed to take a beauty sleep before getting ourselves ready for tonite... Zzzzz
My Beauty Care and Makeup Set

4.30pm alarm rang... and is time for me to bathe and get myself ready before 7pm so that we are able to rush to the lobby to catch up the bus to restaurant.

ragging my body out of my comfort zone to take a shower. And i need a longer time to get myself ready for makeup. [ No choice, I'm a lazy type where most of the time i don't put on makeup. Maybe due to $$ factor too... which i feel too ex if i do it everyday]
Well hopefully I'm still able to put on a light makeup and look abit radiance during dinner. Especially i do not pack much on the makeup item. Just brought my foundation, blushes, lip gloss and my mascara.

The rest are all skin care such as toner, moisturizer, emulsion, hair care and body mist. Phew... why is lady so troublesome?? thousand years ago do ladies do all this?? if not how they maintain it???
OK.. with my wet hair.. unglamourous look... I'm trying to transform into a sweet lady... hehe...

My super Unglam Look

Here I go...touching up my look... putting on the foundation to make my face look smoother... putting on the lipgloss to made me look more radiant
Half way done

And finally, comb my hair properly, put on on my cocktail dress.... ta.. ta....

( Do I look Sweet??!!)

I feel it look better...as my usual style look like the 1st pic... hehe.. Well I also don't understand why I can be such a lazy lady that don't made myself more pretty.
Love the Natural Look

Well Alan and I were ready to set off for the dinner. Took a pic together at the lift lobby outside our room.. Cheeseeeee....

Our arrival at the restaurant... This was my first time attending a wedding dinner in Malaysia... wondering how diff it is compare to Singapore... Will there be wedding favor??? what the menu like??
Finally reach the restaurant and we had the Groom welcoming us... and i found our table 33.
Choose a good spot and sit down waiting for dinner to start. With my dear frz Celia sitting next to me... specially flew all the way from HK to Ipoh.

Wawa your face super "big" lor... beside Singaporeans come all the way here, you some more can have Celia fly all the way here plus your Aussie frzs...
My Table Seating Number

Bottles of Beer

Something caught my eyes immediately... the Bottles on the table... super nice and special. I guess is their local brand beer "Jaz" with the bottle nicely wrap.
Menu of the Nite

Menu of the nite was nice too... But it Stated 9 dish but don't know we are only been serve 8 dishes.

Maybe becos our whole table havent give ang pow that why treatment different... hehe

But I don't mean not to give the ang pow wor... only i didn't see the ang pow box where Singaporean will use at their recept table.

OK i can see malaysian are really punctual...8pm sharp dinner start... a round applause for our bride & groom to come in....

What made me laugh the whole nite was the DJ/MC. Super "Geng" lor... can non-stop speak and with so many flowery and sweet words. I was suggesting Celia to record it down so that she can use it during her wedding since the whole nite the MC spoke in Cantonese.
Although the food is not like in Singapore where u had cold dish, shark fin.. etc.. but i really want to say their food is really nice. Soup come in herbal chicken soup and is really a big bowl where we can't even finish.

But one thing i notice... most of the people there will Ta Bao back home except our table. And maybe becos of that, i notice the waiter like trying to keep the food... He keep rushing us.. clearing the food fast all half eaten. and where we want to throw our dirty plates into the dish... he try clearing fast not to have the plates stack on the food. I guess most probably they are keeping it to eat after the wedding dinner.

And what surprise us the most was the dinner end on time at 10pm. lights off, MC stop ... all plates clear.
We like blur there... how can they make it so on time without exceeding any minutes??
Anyway since everyone leaving, it was my chance to mingle with Wawa and i manage to take a photo with her.
Me & My dearest Wawa

Well time to set off back to hotel.
Wawa & Chok Wei all the best to you all... and wish you all have a blissful marriage!!

Road Trip to Ipoh --> KL

Whoo... had complete a long road trip from 10 Jun 11 to 12 Jun 11.

A trip where i wish to had for... finally there is a chance.
Thanks to Wawa for inviting Alan and I to her wedding dinner @ Ipoh.

Well... i had been excited for this journey and been thinking what to bring to Malaysia.

Early in the morning 2am, Alan had wake up to prepare curry chicken for our journey... Miss Piggy (which is me) still snoring in the bed. Finally 3am, is time i prepare my egg sandwiches which i promise Alan i will prepare. On top of it, i have yet pack my luggage which I'm really now in a mess...

The Hammer he prepare for Safety

Still searching through my wardrobe high and low for toiletries, dress to be worn on Wawa's wedding dinner...arrggh... really regret i never start packing the nite before.

Finally everything well prepare... got our sandwiches, curry chicken and a bottle full of cold Ribena for our journey [Haha we more like going for picnic]. And definitely not forgetting our luggage. Suddenly i saw Alan bring one item and i look blur at him... What the hack he carry a hammer???
Alan:" Safety la... protect ourselves.. in case got theft we use it whack them"... hmmm.. sure or not..

My Super Tire Face

Anyway we are all ready to set off and we are late by our target time by half an hour. It is 4.30am and we better be hurry before the Custom start to jam.

500+km to reach Ipoh... Hope my Subaru can reach there smoothly. Estimated we shall be able to reach there before 12pm... Ipoh here we come.

Making Rice Dumpling

Not sure why... suddenly feel like making rice dumpling.

So my poor mummy had me pester for the whole week to teach me.
I ever requested her once, but she feel i'm the devil that will cause a whole mess in her kitchen.
Netherless, this year she had agreed to teach me, as she felt that i should start making for my family since i had married.
Well.. it is definitely exciting for me.
With my intelligent mind...i feel it should be a small case for me. ( haha cross my finger)

Of cause this time round my main focus was at wrapping the rice dumpling.
Mummy had prepare all the ingredient... all i need is just to dirty my hand and wrap it up.

粽子叶
First is the leaves aka 粽子叶... which i understand need to be cook and soak to soften it before i can use. Then stack 2 pc together where there is a hairy touch one facing outside to make a cone shape for putting the rice and meat.

Had been trying to stuff as much as my hand can hold... but some how mummy say my dumpling is like the mini version... wasting her leaves and rice.
Especially i left over a lot of meats after using up all the rice to wrap it.

The rice is still uncook

Next is trying to make the shape out. Which i really practice hard on it. And finally i did it... whoo hoo.

But to me, the hardest part is tying the stupid dumpling up. Using all my strength to tie it up... but less than half an hour.. "Thump! Thump! Thump!"...Shit......... 3 rice dumpling just fall on the floor opening up.

I'm going to get nagging from mummy... Damn it... i already use my mightly strength to tie it firmly how dare it fall. OMG mummy come check how am i doing and notice it... super no face lor.
especially she see the way i tied it up... and say no wonder it will drop... arrghhhhhhhhh.

Okay Okay... i know that i had use all my heart to learn.. well i'm trying to learn how to tie again.

And finally... ta ta.... finally complete 2 bunch of mini rice dumpling...
My Finish Product

My Virgin Master Piece

Super satisfy with my master piece... with 2 hour of boiling i be able to eat it. ( chirping like a bird)

Yummy.. love the rice dumpling i made... Only my stupid hubby spoil my mood by saying my dumpling is so small and no meat... he clever he come do la :(

I'm going to punish him for saying so hurtful words to me... hehe.
Going to make him bring the dumpling to work n eat everyday. HAHA

Dinner @ Manhanttan Fish Market

Thought of pampering ourselves as it was Pay Day.

So we shall have Dinner @ Manhanttan Fish Market @ Northpoint.

Is my 2nd visit to this place since their opening.
With my $20 voucher from UOB (actually not alot hor)... we shall order something that can fill us up with many variety.

I still can remember last round we were here, we order a platter for 2 which stated to be Chef recommendation or Popular demand... can't remember... anyway is something which both Alan and I don't really like it due to almost all items are fried.
Grilled Gala Platter for 2
This time round we still order platter of 2 but in grill form.
Well despite there is no recommendation tick beside the menu... but we would like to give a thumbs up.

Love the calamari the most when it is done in grill form.(Very Chewy) The rice and fries are definitely filling our tummy up.
However prawn is not the fresh type where we expect to eat in those seafood restaurant. But overall i shall say nice for a simple yet enjoyable dinner.
I hate brocolli
The only things i hate is the Brocolli... not sure why... i just dislike the texture of it... but no choice... learning not to be a spoil child..i got to endure and swallow it down my throat... arrgghhhhhhhh.

With platter for 2, we are able to complete the meal by adding $7.90 to enjoy a soup/chowder + drink. Yummmy yummy... as a greedy piggy... how can i miss that.

Soup of the day & Chowder of the day

Hehe... can't decide which to have... soup or chowder ???

Smoothie wif peant butter
The way darling drink seems to be rather nice....
Can i have a sip of it???? Smell good too with the peanut butter...
But dont know how to pronouce the name of the drink... what " Alabama"

Why isnt my drink here yet?? i thought freeze should be much easier to do than smoothies???

Ok here come my drink... Lime with mint blend in it.
Really a nice refreshing drink.

Down it go and feel the brain freeze across my head...Boooo

Well with this amount of food..  how much i had spent???

With the total bill out to be S$60.85.. and after deducting the voucher... S$40.85 for this dinner... hehe seems like a great deal.

Haha... not sure have i getting into the aunty stage... recently seems like keep using voucher for dinners.

Learning to be thrifty while maintain a luxuary life...i think i'm getting into the master stage.
