Dessert at Mango Tango
Mr Mango Tango welcome the guest |
The shop looks modern and seems to have quite a fair bit of crowd.
So Alan and I just hop in to give a try.
The shop is located opposite of Siam Center and can be located easily once you get out of BTS station.
Location of Mango Tango |
While there is Que, we were been seated quite fast. Probably because we need to place our order before seating, therefore customer do not waste time seating there and thinking about items to be ordered.
While waiting for my food and drinks, i take a close look at othe shop. I love their decoration with all the mango shape wire frame and even the table number plate is craft with Mango shape.
Finally, our dessert had arrived. We order Mango Tango, not knowing what is that. As typically should not be wrong ordering their signature.
Mango Tango |
I would say the food you get here is very fresh. I saw them cutting the mango on the spot, likewise for our drinks is freshly squeeze.
The ice-cream had strong mango smell and the pudding is soft and yummy.
Mango is definitely sweet, otherwise they shouldn't name their Thailand mango as Honey Mango right.
I saw other people having mango sticky rice that look very delicious. But we are too food for more dessert as we had been eating along our way. ( I think that what people do when in Bangkok right. Shopping, eating then shop again and eat)
Well, I just have to wait for the next round to get a taste of it.
Total damage to our pocket, 240 baht ( ~S$9.60) which consider quite reasonable.
But most interesting quote I like:
A MANGO A DAY KEEPS THE DOC AWAY
A Snap with this Handsome Guy |
