Kaiton Pratunum Chicken Rice and Mango Sticky Rice - Bangkok

Well Singapore had many nice Hainanese chicken rice, so do Bangkok.
This is the super well known Chicken Rice by the local and tourist at Pratunum Area

People known it as Kaiton, but the actual shop name is called:
Go-Ang

The shop is located opposite of Berkeley Hotel ( so you know why this is my favorite hotel), and is very easy to spot it. You will be able to see all their worker wearing pink T-shirt.

This shop open very early morning and till late night. Maybe around 2am as it is still very crowded when i pack back to my hotel during midnight.

One plate of Chicken Rice cost us 40baht, which is very cheap. Portion maybe about those S$2.50 type in Singapore. Slightly lesser. But if you had a group like 5 to 6pax, go for half chicken and it really worth the price as these are not small chicken.
The rice itself is less oily and the chicken is not fatty as they use kampong chicken. For chilli lover, you will definitely love their thai style chilli sauce. where they mixed chilli, sweet sauce and garlic. It taste super good with the rice, while it make my nose start dripping.

Right outside this shop, there is a stall selling mango sticky rice. So far is the nicest i ate.

Probably because the rice is always piping hot, and the Mango is just super sweet. They also give a generous amount of mango, unlike other places.

Since they also open till late, I had pack it back to hotel to enjoy too.

Single pack is Chicken Rice, Double box is Mango sticky rice
Look at the Generous amount of Mango for 100baht

The rice is yummy, with not sure what is the yellow stuff to make it crunchy. And the coconut milk they give

Mango itself will make me full

My pack chicken rice

So if you happen to pass by Pratunum, highly recommend that you try out these 2 stalls.
