She Can Have It All

Woke up early in this morning, and it is super unlike me to wake early on a Saturday.
But today is an exciting day to attend a women seminar call " She Can Have It All".

The event was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel, I'm just exciting what it going to be and will I get to know more people? Well dress up, and I finally got there on time at 8.30am. Phew...

I manage to get my register done fast and there were goodies bag too. As soon as I had finish my registration I get to buffet counter to had my breakfast and looking out for familiar faces. It was not long where I see Adeline our WEC chairman and finally I met my same member Kimberly. She was super friendly and it just make me feel more comfortable to blend into this seminar. We get to know more people from the seminar where they are from different CC representative.

Inside is what we are getting

I came to know this lady call Christine, I just can't stop looking at her. Okay, I need to clarify, I'm not a lesbian. She got the charisma and the super career woman look that make me attract to look at her more. Thought we are sitting in the same table, it was unfortunately that I never get to know her more. Luckily before I left, I manage to get her Facebook account. Sound like a stalker... hehe.
The one in center is Christine
Our Guest of Honour Dr Amy Khor

Finally the event start, first speaker we had on stage is the guest of honour Dr Amy Khor. A successful lady that speak how she juggle her life and came to this Minister role. She's really a friendly person and look so cute with her petite size.

And finally after her speech, WIN council officially launch the first women network website in Singapore ( http://www.ladiesnetwork.org.sg/) It is a website where all ladies are able to share their thoughts, problem, advise, healthy and beauty tips. All Ladies are free to join this network.

The next speaker we had up on stage is Ms Janet Ang, IBM managing director for Singapore. My idea for her is a successful career woman at the same time is able to take care of her family. Really a good speaker as she encourage ladies to choose the pursue the life we want. Ladies is able to handle both career and family well. She give us a guide to say what is priority in life. Many young ladies thought that after marriage with kids it is hard to excel in work due to housework, taking care of kids etc. But to her, everyone had the same 24hr. To her waking up early morning 5am and start her day from work to family till 12am before she nites off is what she did to handle both family and work well. She don't feel is a chore and hectic life.
This really inspire me (a newly wed) I can do it.
Enjoying my tea break while listening to talk
Next we had Jacelyn Tay, former mediacorp actress. She was rather been open and talk about her bankruptcy to her health problem earlier days. To many people, bankruptcy may sound like end of their world, but it is how we bravely face it and walk out that make us a successful person. Her hectic life in the past had causes her to have chronic fatigue where she will faint up to 5 times a day. And this is where she start to take care of her health. What come more important than our precious health. ( okay I think i really need to buck up on this area)

All we need to do is eat healthier, excerise abit and that is all you need been healthy.
But lazy and greedy woman like me feel really hard. How can I miss all the nice foodies in the world. Maybe I should start work out before I reach 0.1tonne haha.

Frankly speaking, I feel this seminar is really good as it keep you been inspire and encouraging as in Ladies can have both career and family working well. As ladies are born to be multi-task,doesn't we? In normal days, we are able to hold on to the phone chatting while cooking or doing nail polishing, and when our pets or someone irritate you, we are still able to sense it and scolding them while doing so many things. So we as the ladies is the mighty one.. Hahaha

Anyway, before the seminar end, they had an lucky draw, Kimberly, Christine & I were lucky enough to win it. Our luck is there got lots of Original Source Shower gel. guess for the next 1year I do not need to buy shower gel.

So just to flood my blog with some of my camwhore pictures...
