Garden Theme Scrapbook Shadow Box

I finally complete my shadow box. It is a simple things but during the process lots of ideas keep popping up in my mind.

I like something that is more girlish and can reflect my mood of love.

The shadow box was bought from ikea, can't remember how much it cost. The moment I see the box, I just feel it can be a wonderful piece to put me n Alan photo in it. A 50"x50" frame should be big enough to put lots of photo is my first idea.

Well eventually I only printed a S8R photo as it is more easily available and looks outstanding.

I start decorating by getting 3 bunches of flowers from daiso. As a total beginner, I start to buy lots of items from popular, such as glue, glitters etc.
To have a good background to start with, a green cardboard was use.
The fence was made from the balance cardboard I had and paint it brown to make it outstanding.

Leaves, Flowers were added on it to give a more greenery look and like it had out grown. The butterfly you see on the right hand side was printed from the internet. And i simply had pink glitters to outline it and the body was fill with silver glittering. the Filler was made of pearl to give an elegant look.

A similar larger butterfly was also done in the same way at the top left hand side. But this time round the outer layer was sprinkle with Glow in the Dark glitter. To make in more outstanding, gems were added and filler was also made of pearl except I painted it using nail polish.
A short Journal Tag was added to stated the feeling of that day.

On the top right, I added a few more flowers and leaves trying to get the feeling that it is branches out from a tree. And from it There is two lovely birds in the birdcage. A string of pearl was added to give the elegant look. Simply love it as I hand cut out the birdcage and added a pink paper at the back to bring out the cage.

And most important is the photo. Having a background border will help to give the center of attraction to it. Adding my photo border with lace to give the extra sweet look.

Here a short video taken to see the overall shadow box.

Hope I can made more of this and decorate my house. ^_^
